The Dasa Dhana – the term Dhasa refers to “TEN”, Dhaana refers to “OFFERINGS”.

Gho/Cow Dhaanam As per Hindu traditions, the Gho Dhaana is considered as a sacred one. During Thila Homam Gho Dhaana to be offered to a Vedic Pundit. Spritual benefits – Peace and blessings of Forefathers, Destruction of sins in past births, all kinds of Happiness and Prosperous in life. As per shastra, substitution of Cow by Go Moolya/ coconut also yields same benefits.
Bhoo Dhaana Land for cultivation or dwelling should be given. It is substituted by Sandal Wood. This dhaana is given praying for comfortable living.
Seasame/Til (Black) Seasame/Til (black) is given in a iron or copper vessel helps the giver to get rid of all sins
Gold / Hiranya – Suvarna Hiranya dhaana is praying for removal of all acquired sins.
Ghee Ghee dhaana in bronze vessel for pleasing of all devathas and praying for removal of all sins
Vastram Vastra dhaana is given praying for good health and prosperity.
Food Grains Food grains like paddy, Wheat, Rice etc given for prosperity in life.
Jaggery To please Goddess Lakshmi and seeking all prosperity.
Silver To please pithrus/Mahavishnu and seeking their blessings.
Lavanam (Salt) To please Lord Rudhra seeking good health
